      URT = Unified Rear Triangle

      What do you think? Still riding that frame or is it collecting dust, treated as a Faux Antique or what?

      well, my GT I-Drive 4 5.0 Disk disk uses a modified URT design, but obviously uses the patented I-Drive setup (hence the name). the base Fox Float shock I’ve got does allow a little bit of pedal bob, but other than that it’s awesome. my old toys-r-us special bike was a URT and it pedaled nicely, but that was probably because of the 750 lb/in spring that effectively locked out the suspension apart from a few cm of travel.

      URT? There’s a reason why it’s not used on anything other than Wally-world deathcycles anymore. Riding a URT with any more than 1" of effective suspension is hobbyhorse-esque.
      Garbage, compared to even the most simple of recent suspension bikes.
