Hey all new here and fairly new to the mountain bike world. Picked up a giant Talon 2 last summer and rode the crap out of it. Over the winter in the shop something fell on the bike the chain ring up pretty good and be the crank arm up as well, well at least it’s a good excuse to do the covers on.
With that being said I mainly ride the local park trails and told a little guy around the neighborhood in the bike cart. I’d rather have a little more climbing abilities than speed.
What would you recommend for a cassette using the stock hub 10 or 11? , derailleur and crank set with a chain ring? I’m not looking to break the bank on this project.
