Interbike kicks off today with the 2-day Outdoor Demo portion in Bootleg Canyon, NV. I’ll be heading out to Las Vegas tomorrow to catch the opening of the indoor portion bright and early on Wednesday.

I’m trying to put together a schedule so I don’t miss anything but it looks like it’ll be tough to fit it all in. Wednesday I’ll be checking out the IMBA presentation on IMBA Ride Centers and I’m hoping to catch the “Kona Magic Show” to find out about their new suspension tech. There’s a seminar on “The Art of 24 Hour Racing” at Light and Motion that sounds interesting and in the evening I definitely want to hit the Shimano Deore XT 25th Anniversary party at the Venetian. On Thursday night I plan on watching the criterium races (sadly no MTB division as far as I know) through the streets of Las Vegas.

Beyond the official stuff I have a pretty serious MTB info wish list from all of you which I plan to hit hard. I’m personally interested in learning more from Garmin about their line of cycling GPS units, especially the forthcoming Edge 705. There’s still time to add your requests, just hit the forum link above.

Anyway, Interbike promises to be a great time and I’m stoked to be coving the action for singletracks. Check here daily (starting Wednesday) for pics and articles about your favorite gear. Viva Las Vegas!
