It’s never too early to start strategizing for next year’s enduro race season, and for many racers that means picking up one of the latest crop of ultra-fast, ultra-versatile enduro bikes! While there are definitely more options out there on the market, here are 10 of the hottest enduro bikes that we spotted at Interbike this year:

The BMC Trailfox TF02 is the mid-range Trailfox model with a carbon front triangle and an aluminum rear triangle. With 29″ wheels, this 150mm-travel bike is ready for some enduro slaying! A full XT build kit along with a Cane Creek DBair rear shock and RockShox Pike fork round out the parts package. MSRP: $5,499.IMG_0334-intense

The Jamis Dakar AMT Pro model, pictured here, retails for $4,799 and features a triple-butted 7005 aluminum frame kitted out with a RockShox Pike fork and a RockShox Monarch Plus RC3 rear shock. A SRAM X01 drivetrain handles transmission duties, with American Classic wheels, a KS Lev dropper post, and SRAM Guide brakes rounding out the parts package.

pivot_mach6_carbon1-600x400

The Pivot Mach 6 Carbon has been a much sought-after bike this year, with backorders just now getting fulfilled. The Mach 6 boasts 6″ of travel thanks to a Fox 36 fork and Fox rear shock, an XT drivetrain, and Stans ZTR Flow EX wheels. MSRP: $6,099.

hero_altitude_799_msl

The Rocky Mountain Altitude boasts 150mm of suspension and 27.5″ wheels. With Rocky Mountain’s proprietary Ride 9 chip adjustment, this may be the most versatile bike on this list. The top-level 790 MSL comes spec’ed with a carbon frame, Fox suspension, XTR Ice Tech brakes, XX1 drivetrain, and carbon Reynolds AM wheels. MSRP: $9,499.

The Santa Cruz Nomad Carbon 27.5 has been making big waves on the enduro circuit this year. This top-of-the-line build sports 165mm of travel with RockShox suspension front and rear, a SRAM XX1 drivetrain, and Enve wheels. MSRP: $10,000.

While all of the Enduros were gone when I tried to ride one at Outdoor Demo, the Specialized Enduro is one of the iconic enduro bikes… for at least one very obvious reason The Enduro S-Works 650b features a carbon frame, 160mm of travel, RockShox Pike fork, Cane Creek DBair shock, SRAM XX1 drivetrain, and SRAM Guide brakes. MSRP: $9,300.

The new Scott Genius LT 700 Tuned (27.5″) was yet another hot-looking bike. I personally love the internal cable routing. The LT 700 sports a Fox 36 front and a CTD (NUDE) rear shock for suspension. MSRP: $7,600 -Syd

There are other build options available for $4,899, $3,499, and $1,999 for the frameset.

yeti-sb5c-untitled-event-2748

While Yeti didn’t have a booth at Interbike this year, we spotted the SB5c at the Maxxis booth. This was my first time ogling the 5c in person, and man is this one hot bike! Read more about it in Paul’s review, here. MSRP: $8,999.

In my opinion the Bronson is just as capable as the Nomad…Granted as a racer one or two items of the stock build may need to be changed.

  • John Fisch

Another vote for the Bronson — incredible bike and more versatile than the Nomad.

Interesting selection of the Carbine as the Tracer is very similar and has a slightly slacker head angle, making it a bit more endure-like. Maybe it’s “hotter” because Intense puts out a carbon carbine with a foundation build kit at lower price point than the Tracer.

That Yetis SB-5c is one sweet looking rig. I can’t wait to see the -6c! I’ll bet that one can really rip!

The Yeti-sponsored pros winning enduro races left and right on this rig would disagree with you.

      I stand corrected
