Intense Releases New “Sniper” Mountain Bike in Both XC and Trail Configurations

Intense has just released their new Sniper mountain bike in both XC and Trail configurations. The Trail model is slightly slacker than the XC model and features 20mm more suspension travel--120mm vs 100mm. The XC version, on the other hand, is available in more build kits, soaring up to $8,499 MSRP.

Intense Sniper Trail Expert Build

Hit tight singletrack lines with military precision aboard Intense’s new Sniper XC and Trail bikes. Just announced today, the new Sniper full suspension 29er carbon mountain bike from Intense is available in two different platforms: 100mm for the “XC” version and 120mm for the “Trail” version.

To eliminate the twitchy XC bike feel, Intense has incorporated a relatively long front-center on the Sniper along with a short 50mm stem. They’ve also built in slack geometry, long wheelbases, and what they call “ideal” bottom bracket heights–not too short, not too tall.
