Hueston Woods in Ohio is hosting a mountain bike trail weekend next week at the park to raise awareness for trail maintenance and improvement. IMBA will be in town as part of the event and is even hosting a little social on the evening of the 9th. If you’re in the area, definitely check it out!
In unrelated news, I recently read somewhere that, on average, new mountain bikes today are 4 pounds lighter than they were 10 years ago. Let’s see… since my mountain bike is 8 years old, that means if I upgrade now I can shave roughly 3.5 pounds off my rig. Sweet!
