"trek7k" wroteI haven’t seen Riding Giants but from what I’ve read and heard, Klunkerz is the film you’re looking for:
If you want to see an incredible documentary about mountain biking, I highly recommend 24 Solo. It’s about Chris Eatough and his quest for a 7th straight 24-hour solo MTB world title and it’s really a great film.
Both of these movies can be found on Amazon.com.
Thanks a lot!!!
I will check it 😃"Schnabel_Sniper" wroteHey MTB Web World!!! My roomie and I are very avid riders in the Central Texas area. For the time being we are riding hardtails and hope to be pulling stunts on a new FS before it warms up. I am kind of learning on my own all the do’s and don’ts so if there are any trail wise-men in the San Antonio / Austin area I would love to learn a few things.

2nd Plt. TM 3 (USMC)Hi sniper, I hope that you can shot into the target after hard ride when your chest bumping like a ping pong ball, the arms shacking and the sweat blocking your eyes. 😎
Than you are ready!
I heard than one expert rider from Washington, in one year from now, will be back to Texas. I think his name is George W. Bush, you may be heard about him. 😮
Try to join as more to more experience riders groups try to keep the rate and the speed, practice-practice-practice, fall-fall-fall, pain-pain-pain and all will be OK 😃 😃 😃

If you looking for scenery, views, archeology, geography or extreme single tracks, AM, FR, DH
For example: I will not go specially to ride XC only, I need some excitement of AM
I will not go to similar scenery like in my country.I ride little in Austria/Germany near Lake Konstanza, nice, not more.
I ride in the rain forest / jungle in Thailand, AM single tracks at the north, XC at the island. Very good.Israelis going to: Expansive Europe countries like Italy/Spain/Germany/Austria/Swiss
Medium Europe countries like Greece, Cyprus
Low grade Europe countries Croatia/Romania/Slovenia/Bulgaria
Asia – Turkey, Georgia, Mongolia,
North Africa – Morocco
Far East Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand
Oceania – New Zealand, AustraliaYou, in USA have it almost all: Green forest, Deserts, wild nature, high mountains deep canyons, XC/AM/FR/DH sites.
USA have lake of Jungles and some kind of vanished culturesSo, to my opinion go to: Far East or South America or South Africa, but check before that the tracks are for your skills and interest
