Mountain Biking Zack's Fork
#92 of 549 mountain bike trails in North Carolina
An impressive flowy singletrack loop right in the middle of Lenoir, NC. Only 3 miles, but the trail is very well built. Great flow, lots of berms, and a surprising elevation change (250ft) which allows for a nice berm-filled .4 mile descent. The feel / flow is similar to Kerr Scott trails - like the OVT, but much shorter. If you're in the area riding Rocky Knob or Kerr Scott, its definitely worth stopping in.

Take 321 to the north side of Lenoir. Turn on to Nuway Circle drive. After about .5 miles, Take a right on Zack's Fork rd. Park at the Lenoir Rotary Soccer Complex. The trailhead is marked with a large wooden map kiosk that is easy to find. Directly in front of the main parking area on the other side of the paved Greenway is a bridge across the creek. Take that bridge and follow the signs along the double track that point to the trail. After about 1/4 mile you will see the map kiosk.
