Trail Description
About this trail
Known for it's good riding and stunning scenery, it is a part of the Whiskey-Off Road 30- and 50-Proof courses, as well as the Prescott Circle Trail. It begins with some twisty climbing up some tree-laden singletrack and eventually pops out of the foliage, continuing up Wolverton Mountain with stunning views of Thumb Butte and the Prescott Valley. The singletrack is moderate in difficulty with some loose rock, but ends with a fun double-track downhill. It's 4.9 miles in length (~1,200 ft of climbing). Water and restrooms are located near the trailhead at White Spar Campground.

Review: I enjoy the variety of the trail - the climbing, the rock, the downhill. It connects at the far end to Trail 48, which descends to Copper Springs Rd. Or, riders can continue on the Whiskey Off-Road course. The views are amazing, and access is great for those camping at White Spar, which is highly recommended.
