Not sure if this is a legal MT Bike trail of not. Lots of people ride there. Be observant.

It was an icy winter for the trails in Staten Island. When the trails get frozen over, there is nothing like a day at the beach!

The trail conditions fluctuate with the weather. As with most of the trails in Staten Island, this is usually overgrown in the summer. Occasionally off road motorcycles and quads use these trail. Once a year or so you will see a burnt car, usually 4wd. This is a beautiful area that gets tainted by a few morons. I like riding here in the winter months. You can ride about 5 miles in the trail network, crossing your own path a few times. Not as nice as Wolf's Pond but worth the trip if you are in the area.
If you view the map for this trail, switch it to satellite view or it looks like a ride in the street. Much of the wooded areas in Staten Island is shown on the maps as streets.
