Mountain Biking White Memorial Foundation

****   Add a review
#107 of 110 mountain bike trails in Connecticut
#12383 in the world

WMF is a fun place to ride, especially if you want to work on your cardio and do some LSD work. There are approximately 35 mi of trails in and around the WMF. Sadly, most only experience 20-30% of the Park.
The riding is not exciting and most of the trails you can drive a car on but it's fun. I take my 12 yr old son here a lot because he is still learning how to ride trails, and WMF provides just enough technical trails for him to handle.

Getting there
If you are coming from the south on Rt. 8N take the Litchfield exit for Rt. 118. Follow 118W into the center of Litchfield and get on 202W heading towards New Milford, and the entrance is on the left in 3-4 mi.

Great place for a beginner to get their feet wet. Most of the trails are flat and not technical. There are no drops, jumps, or anything very technical. I go with my son and his friends because they're new to mtn bike riding.
