Mountain Biking West Tour Mueller State Park
#835 of 1,430 mountain bike trails in Colorado
This is one of the better rides in Mueller State Park with some blazing fast downhills, rigorous climbs, beautiful forests and scenery, and interesting history. Don't miss the Osborn Homestead and Geer Pond. The route proceeds as follows. Take Black Bear Trail west to the Nobel Cabin downhill (heading west), then back to Black Bear Trail (west) to the end of Black Bear (gate/fence). Turn around and head back on Black Bear (east) to Osborn Homestead. Follow Osborn Homestead counterclockwise to Geer Pond, and then Geer Pond to Lost Pond to the top and the main road. Jump on the road and head north just a short distance to the Homestead trail. Take Homestead west (down) and then north back up to Black Bear. Head east on Black Bear about a half mile back to the trailhead.

Follow the main road (Wapiti Road) through the park first west and then north for 2.5 miles to the Black Bear Trailhead and parking lot on your left. Lots of parking available. The trail/route begins at the end of Pisgah Point Campground on Black Bear Trail.
This is one of my favorite rides in Mueller SP. Beautiful forest, interesting history and some of the better riding though never technical.
