Trail Description
About this trail
Sweet singletrack with lots of variety. This is a series of loops normally ridden together clockwise. Zipline and Whitetail Loop are easier trails. Darwin's revenge and Boneyard are more difficult. New sections of trail added during winter of '03-'04.

Review: My first time there and due to not much daylight left I hit the boneyard. It sounded scary. I wish i had put my flat pedals on. I was clipped in and its very rocky and lots of roots. At the top of climbs there would always be a root or rocks and had i had flat pedals i would have hit it hard but being clipped in it killed my momentum because I'm a sissy i guess. I loved the trail. Alot of obstacles and very scenic. I cant wait to get back to Kingsport and hit it again. There are alot more trails but i want to hit this one again with flat pedals.

Review: This was our first visit to Warriors' Path and we'll definitely be coming back. We are relatively new to the mountain biking scene but it was some of the best trails we've been on so far. We did Darwin's Revenge, Fawn Loop, Zipline, Whitetail, part of The Ridge and Magic Carpet Ride. Magic Carpet Ride was a fun downhill and Whitetail had a good mix of everything but wasn't too difficult that a couple rookies like my husband and I couldn't handle. It was challenging enough to be fun but not scary. Like I said, we'll definitely be coming back to do some of the other trails we missed.

Review: My second visit to Warrior's, been a few years, and nothing but positive. Challenging but doable climbs, changing scenery, ups, downs, flow, scattered rock features - just a little bit of everything to keep it interesting. If you take Darwin out of the parking lot, it starts with a switchback climb. Not a big deal, but got going pretty good on the ensuing downhill and came quickly up on a rock drop with a straight drop of about 2 1/2 feet (guessing because I didn't go back) with no warning or no bail out. Just hit it with speed and pulled back a bit and the landing was smooth and easy. I was a little more cautious after that, but really the only feature that jumped up on me. Wahoo is a nice diversion loop off of Darwins and is worth checking out. It takes you back under the highway and along some pretty cool cliffs (safely beyond the trail). Not sure if I missed Wahoo last time, or if it's a recent addition. Improved parking area (gravel in the lot and new pavement on the steep entry/exit) also includes large posted trail map, a clothes changing hut and a porta-john. Thumbs up to Warriors!

Review: Absolutely awesome experience. There's well built trail. the intermediate is good for the likes of me, the more advanced is more advance, all in wonderful hills with lots of scale to them for not being true mountains. everything I tried was amazing.

Review: Great trails, super technical on some like bone yard and Darwin's revenge and fast and flowy on other like white tail. Zip line is a great place to practice switch backs and have fun, short and steep.

Review: Great 9 mi loop for an intermediate rider such as me. Plenty of connectors to lengthen or shorten the ride.

Review: Great trail! Kudos to the folks that keep it updated. This trail has lots of variety and had it not been so wet, it would have been even more fun. Boneyard was my favorite.

Review: Plenty of small pointed rocks dot the trails. The trails are a more technical intermediate. Saw several deer and liked the scenery.
