Review: This is a great trail for the average mountain biker. It has a fairly good flow and some areas that are a little tecnical. The scenery is amazing. I would say this is similar to Luton with less technical areas. The wood bridges and the open areas through the corn field are definitely unique. The Perrin flow trail was in need of some TLC, but I saw online today that that was going to happen in August. Be cautious of the copious amounts of poison ivy!!

Review: I rode Wahlfield once early in the spring and wasn't particularly thrilled by it, but decided to give it another go after the dirt jump & flow track was built in August. I'm glad I did, because it's quickly become one of my favorite trails to ride. The main loop is about 5 miles in length, and rolls generally fast. Elevation changes aren't huge, nor particularly steep, so there's no lung-busting climbs required, and flow is for the most part very good. Be careful in the cornfields, where the trail can be obscured and runoff channels can cause rutting that might send you OTB. Some parts of the trail are very narrow and/or follow a steep ridgeline, so beginners may not be comfortable in some parts. The dirt jump section is a lot of fun, though, and its an easy way to extend your ride (rather than doubling the main loop, I just spend 30 mins hucking the jumps). This is a unique feature offered at Wahlfield that isn't yet found anywhere else nearby, and makes Wahlfield a really appealing option for any multi-discipline rider.

Review: I gave it a 4 because there was lots of variation. Three different lines for the pump track. Some root sections. Quite a bit of off camber spots. Excellent place to hone your skills. And it's someone what close to my house.

Review: Quite a bit of new trail here that needs some breaking in. Kudos to whoever benchcut that much trail--lots of shovel work right there!

If you like speed and flow, this trail is (mostly) not for you. While there are small pieces here and there where you can get some speed, turns are generally sharp and lots of maneuvering will keep your legs cranking and your velocity low. The corn field section is like nowhere else. I found the two new loops somewhat disappointing, despite the obvious commitment to bench cutting the diggers had. I'll have to re-run this with my 29er sometime again (I did it on a 26") and it might go more easily. This is an intermediate trail that feels like it's advanced in places. But, if you like cornfields, look no further!!

Review: The trail is now 5 miles long. There are 4 sections of awesome bench cut sections along Mill Creek but to connect the sections the trail currently has to use the edge of some corn fields. More trail is planned in 2017 though.

Review: Loved and hated this trail. Field part was rough and overgrown in places, but woodsy part was very good at times with some nice bridges. Needs to be rode/broken in more. The part of the trail thru the cornfield was fun and very unique.

Similar Trail: Woodsy part (Luton Park) Field Part (Brush-Hogged Pasture) Corn Field Part (Like nowhere else)
