Mountain Biking Trail 8

****   Add a review
#56 of 315 mountain bike trails in Idaho
#4,284 in the world

Like Trail 7, Trail 8 is uncharacteristic of much of the in the motorcycle-friendly Canfield Butte system in that it is relatively smooth and rut-free. Combined with a climb on Forest Road 1562 and a descent starting on Trail 7, Trail 8 rounds out an excellent loop on Canfield Butte.

Trail condition was wet and slushy from snow melt. Much of the trail was a stream. I am sure that if dry this trail would have been great.
