Three separate trails wind through this forested property skirting the Isinglass River off Rochester Neck Road. Locke's Local Loop and Watson's Way are both loop trails measuring close to 1.5 miles in length, while Luanne's Lane is 3.5 miles each way. Owned by Waste Management and located adjacent to the Turnkey Landfill in the Mount Isinglass Recreational Area, the wooded trails include a mix of deciduous and evergreen trees. You might not expect to find scenic hiking next to a landfill, but Waste Management's Turnkey Recycling & Environmental Enterprises has done a remarkable job of maintaining the trails and preserving the natural beauty of these shaded woods. The Isinglass River is smooth and reflective, and the trails are open year-round for fall leaf-peeping or winter snowshoeing. Mountain biking is also permitted, and leashed dogs are allowed on the trails.

Nice place, there are 3 trails to pick from (red, yellow, blue). The system is built on the slope down to the river, so it's all downhill one way and all uphill the other way. There's some flatter sections near the river.
The downhill is fun, there are lots of roots and you can just let gravity carry you for at least a mile.
There are lots of bugs since it's near a river, that's the only downside for me.
Thank |Trails are good, but I will not be going back thanks to the morons who decided the tailgate of my truck would look better with black marker all over it.
Thank |Great trail we rode it today. it had rained in the am. But even with the rain the trails were decently dry and very clean. We rode the yellow trail. The beginning half was VERY easy riding. The second half a bit more technical. but still a very fun ride.
