Review: There has definitely been a shift to quantity over quality. The maintenance is not what it once was. Watch out for erosion zones. There are a couple that are downright dangerous do to lack of maintenance. A reroute should really be put in place. These areas are why I have upgraded difficulty to advanced. It's a shame these trails have the potential to be one of, if not, the premier trail system north of the Shawnee National Forest area.

Review: These are great trails as long as your skill level is the same as the trail builders. There isn't any progression. The new D section is the same or less technical than the existing C section. It mostly feels like you are just repeating C. I f you areally looking for anything beyond intermediate level trails or simply a good workout, look elsewhere.

Review: The fpmbts are very fast and even the newest trail, d trail, is as hard as the original trails.

Review: This is the first MTB trail I have ever ridden. I have ridden it about 5 times now, all sections. "The Fay" is right on Mill Creek Lake which is really peaceful and offers a fantastic view while you're biking. This trail has a great community of regular riders that are very helpful, and they offer great advice that will enhance your experience of the trail. There are plenty of challenging sections that will test your skill, as well as beautiful, open cruising sections that are perfect for beginners. After riding this trail I am hooked on mountain biking. The trail is very well maintained. If you're looking for a fun, challenging day on the trails, The Fay is the perfect place! I recommend it 100%

Review: These trails are a blast to ride! I can tell a lot of thought went into planning these trails...just by how they flow through the landscape and taking advantage of all the views they have to offer. There is something for everyone here. If you're a beginner, you might have a couple of short hills to hike. If you're an intermediate rider, you'll be fine all the way around. If you're an expert, try riding these trails fast...I guarantee you'll get a workout. Definitely worth a ride if you're in the area!

Review: Lots of fast flowy trails, short punchy climbs, and a couple of long grinders. These trails always give me a great workout. The scenery is awesome. 1full loop is 10 miles with the new addition of loop D. And it's always dry! If you've never ridden here, add it to your list

Review: Almost 10 miles of well-maintained singletrack. Some nice climbs, but nothing overly technical. Plenty of nice flowing descents, but some are along some pretty narrow bench cuts! Great views of the lake, especially in fall.

Review: Great Trail, Flows really nice. Cool views especially for Illinois. Not super technical for the most part. Decent climbs and descents. Looks like they are in the process of adding an additional trail or loop.

Review: My #1 preferred trail by home. Intermediate. Raw handcut, fast flow singletrack. Multi-directional trail that gives it a different feel each way. Fastest drying trail around. Letter & Number marked trail.
