Mountain Biking Smith River Trails

*****   Add a review
#141 of 286 mountain bike trails in Virginia
#6,525 in the world

This trail is the start of**reenway trail system that will go from Fieldale Va to Philpott Dam about 12 miles up stream. The trail is one mile long and makes for a great beginners track for kids and adults that are just getting into trail ridding. There is very little climbing on this trail so if you are looking for a workout then you may want to try something else. It is very senic as it runs along the banks of the Smith River and it has pinic tables and benches along the trail for everyone enjoyment.

Actually start to finish is 4.6 miles and just half of it is gravel and the rest is packed single track dirt, lots of shade.
