Mountain Biking Salisbury Community Park

*****   Add a review
#87 of 550 mountain bike trails in North Carolina
#1,656 in the world

The Salisbury Community Park (SCPMTB) trail system is volunteer built and maintained and, as of 2024, primarily consists of 9+ miles of singletrack trails comprised of a multiple trail loops. The system has been designed for beginners through expert riders and riding options at the park include even more mileage ranging from a paved greenway around the lake, gravel roads, grassy cross country paths, doubletrack, singletrack and bike-specific flow and jump lines. The trails are maintained by the Pedal Factory Trail Care Crew and are multi-use. Class 1 e-bikes allowed; gas or e-motorcycles/Surrons are not allowed. Most riders start at the SCPMTB trail hub, located between the gravel parking lot and the lake, where Greenbriar, North Main and a segment of the Carolina Thread Trail all converge. The North Main and South Main loops serve as the backbone of the system with other trail loops accessible via them. The trails are marked for travel in a clockwise fashion, but they are multi-use and can be ridden in either direction with the exception of the jump and flow lines which are downhill only. Current trail maps are available on kiosks around the park and you can scan a qr code on the trail signs or go to:  https://salisburyncgis.maps.arcgis.com/apps/instant/basic/index.html?appid=497c08b425b24558b2120050f2679dbe For trail status updates, visit SCPMTB on Facebook at:    https://www.facebook.com/p/Salisbury-Community-ParkSCPMTB-100063801750131/ To donate to the Pedal Factory Trail Care Crew, go to:   https://www.thepedalfactory.org/products/donate-to-the-pedal-factory Trails are common ground, be mindful of other users, ride within your abilities and at your own risk, wear a helmet, don't litter, and enjoy the ride.
