This is a short fast fun ride. From the parking lot ride east on the bike path turn right [south] on Bergen PKW a short distance turn left on Keystone dr. watch for the trail to take off on the right just across from Placid dr. Follow the trail past some ponds cross a subdivision road. When you get to the waste water treatment plant follow the trail along the fence line across the the driveway not the trail that goes to the left [east]. The trail ends at the south entrance to the plant. I like to tie this ride in with the Elk Meadow loop it makes about a 15 mile ride.

Too congested. Defer to elk meadow.
| ThankHeavy foot traffic! This is the front range so there are lots of hikers and runners on the trail at all times even weekdays.
| ThankWhen searching for JeffCo trails here on singletracks.com, if you sort them by rating, this is (was) the only trail that came up with a 5-star rating. Naturally, I had to check it out (even though it was hard to believe this rating after looking at the trail map). If ridden north-south, it is an easy & short downhill, combo of single and double track, and a few loose rocks and hikers. Would have been a fun end to riding Bergen (as others have suggested here) except for the uphill road slog back to the Bergen parking area at the end of it.
| ThankGreat trail if you add on Bergen Peak
