Wow! This is a great place to ride. Well worth the $10 entry fee, and you can go ride other state parks on the fee on the same day if you want...Riemers Ranch is nearby. The riding trails total around 15 miles and offer a wide range of difficulty, steeps, obstacles, and even a terrain park of sorts with wooden bridges and pump tracks. Fun for everyone. The best trail we found all day was the Wookie Way. Awesome!!! Long, varied terrain, with plenty of challenging obstacles, rocky climbs and descents, and some fast flowing sections to boot. This was a super fun trail! If I had more time, I would have ridden it again. There is also a sweet little technical loop off a midway point in the trail, called something like Rock Garden...something. Anyway, it was really fun and challenging. The state park is really nice and would be a great place to camp and ride multiple days. After riding several other trails in the Austin area this week, and coming from Golden, CO, Pace Bend was a real treat. My hat's off to those who built it. Well done! I'll be back next time we're in the area.
