Mountain Biking Old Ash Dam Trails
#128 of 294 mountain bike trails in Pennsylvania
These trails, although relatively small, offer alot of different terraine. Old woods roads, single track, and 4x4 trails. Plenty of hills in the woods made up of mostly single and double track and a really nice flat course that runs around the bottom of the old reservoir, which has been drained. This trail is mostly hard packed shale but if it rains there can be deep puddles and alot of mud. If you live in Central PA and need a decent place to ride that is close and is not to technical, i.e. you just want to get a nice fast XC ride in, check this place out. It's less than a mile off of 11&15 so you know its not out of your way.
