Trail Description
About this trail
Single track climb up 21 switchbacks that leads to an undulating traverse across the Eastern slope of Olomana Mtn. Then, hang on for a fun-filled, swoopy, twisty decent to the "White Fence" area of the Olomana Trail system.
From here you can turn around and do the trail in reverse, head left on the Hiway and make a short loop or head right/downhill into the trail system and circumnavigate the entire mountain.

Review: Intermediate trail with some fun, technical side trails.

Review: Nice ride. Brutal climb, but great pay back. Not a beginner trail and definitely not one to try out clip less pedals.
Pros... Trail is built for mountain biking and not used by horses as are many other trails in the area. Tight turns have machine built berms to help flow. Most areas of trail dry quickly after rain, however a couple of sections sheltered from the ocean breezes need attention.
Cons... Not very long, trail does not loop, therefore tend to meet riders going opposite directions. No signs.
Tips... In the first mile, when you get to the area with the concrete pad turn right and go up the trail. If you turn left you will go down a very steep moss covered concrete ramp ... you cannot stop on until you reach the concrete barricade at the bottom.
When you reach the intersection near end of trail turn left (down hill) then right at next intersection the a quick left to go down to end of trail. (head toward the highway noise)
