Trail Description
About this trail
This trail alternates between doubletrack and singletrack as the figure 8 loops up and around the Table Mountain mesa. Signage is a work in progress as of June 2010 so grab a map at the trailhead kiosk. From the road this grassy mesa looks fairly tame but there are some steep, rocky sections that will challenge even experienced riders. There's even a hidden waterfall near the top of the Mesa Top Trail.

Review: Good for a training and quick rides as it is flowy and no too long. The downhills I took were fast and rocky in some spots. Overall a nice place close to Golden.

Review: Great trail to get your feet wet to the awesome riding that Colorado has to offer. Trail has everything from beginner loops to rocky climbs and descents. Trail can get busy and parking lot fills up fast.

Review: Nothing very technical and so the temptation to fly can lead to trouble when you hit one of the many areas with loose gravel or loose rocks. Other than that, definitely some cool climbs and a great after work work out. Nice views. Expect to run into someone every 3-4 minutes (weekdays after 5)

Review: fun beginner/intermediate trail. It happened to be very muddy in spots with some standing water when I rode it this time. Would avoid certain sections of it until it dries out.

Review: I'll never go back to this one. Personally for my style of riding, I like fast smooth winding downhills. There was one spot where I picked up some speed. The rest of the short downhills were way too rocky. It almost seems like there were more ups than downs. It sucked

Review: I thought I could avoid the road for the ascent so I took lookers right around the water tower to avail. Ended up having to carry my bike up the rocks from a hiking trail (?).

Review: Great loop close to home. Massive gravel road climb to start but there are a few fun spots on the descent. There was a wild fire on the top when we were there last week which was....interesting!

Review: Short, fast, fun ride close to the mountains and north/west Denver. This is a great after work ride. Extremely popular with bikers and hikers, so expect traffic and be courteous to others.
