Trail Description
About this trail
It's a wide doubletrack for horses and they are pretty well maintained. The further out you get the less well they are maintained. The signage is okay, there are a few spots that are hard to understand but overall not bad

Review: It's a wide path through the woods that gives peaking views of the Lake. It is mostly flat and fast. It is easy to follow for the most part and can be fun if you really push yourself. The horses have not torn it up so there isn't spots to terrible. There are a few spots that are bumpy but nothing a descent bike can't get over. There are a few spots where there is a private cove you could go swimming at if you really wanted. If You don't want to do the 11.5 miles back on the trail to the trailhead you can take the road right off the end right back. It's only a 2 mile trip. Or do it vice-versa, ride down then come back up. Again, the actual MTB trail is closed until next spring, so said the Rangers at the Station. There are signs posted no bikes on the trail but they have the trail available to bikers for the fact that the MTB trail is closed. Just check in at the Ranger Station and ensure there aren't a large group of Horses Riding and you should be good to go. Great for some miles, gives a little fun. But nothing challenging.
