During the winter the nordic trails here are open to fat bikes. Note: there is no summer mountain biking available here--this is winter, fat-tired biking ONLY.
As a frequent Colorado fat biker I can't give this trail a very high rating. It is dead flat, covers only about 3 miles. The first 2 miles winds around an open field. This can be very windy and potential for drifting snow. I will say that when the conditions are good this would be a good beginner course for a new fat biker not comfortable with narrow singletrack. Otherwise, you're better off on the nearby Colorado Mountain College groomed singletrack.
