Mountain Biking Mont Bromont

****   Add a review
#6 of 105 mountain bike trails in Quebec
#722 in the world

Bromont is one of Quebec's premier downhill bike parks, with over 50km of downhill and enduro trails accessed by three chairlifts and 350m (1,150ft) of vertical drop across terrain that ranges from beginner-friendly flow to pro-level technical challenges. The mountain features 29 distinct trails, making it one of the best gravity-focused networks in Eastern Canada. A maintenance team keeps the trails in prime condition, featuring every type of feature imaginable: jumps, bridges, road gaps, table tops, berms, and drops.

The bike park caters to all levels of riders, from families just starting out to experts looking to test themselves on legitimate race-worthy terrain. A dedicated Bike School offers both group and private lessons for riders looking to progress, while a skill park with intermediate and expert jump lines (rebuilt in 2018) provides a perfect training ground. Unlike some gravity destinations that lean heavily toward advanced riders, Bromont maintains a strong selection of green and blue trails alongside its challenging blacks and double blacks, making it accessible without sacrificing the gnarly factor that serious riders crave.

Beyond the lift-served bike park, Bromont's Parc des Sommets adds another 105km of cross-country and enduro trails spread across five interconnected networks, including the Mount Oak Network's 17km of family-friendly singletrack and the Mountain Network's more technical terrain topped by three peaks. Combined with on-site camping, a full-service rental shop, and repair facilities, Bromont offers everything needed for a multi-day riding adventure in Quebec's Eastern Townships.

This is the best lift accessed DH in eastern Canada. trails will challenge you and your abilities. season passes are reasonable as well. plus there's loads of XC trails around the MTN as well.

Bromont is a great place for chailift accessed DH, but has been outshined by many other places in Quebec for XC. Fewer trails are available, due to land development around the mountain. If you are looking for intense DH, with berms, jumps and rock gardens, this is a great place. But if you are looking for great XC trails, try elsewhere before going there.
