Trail Description
About this trail
Great intermediate trail with a net elevation loss as you travel from the OO trailhead to the Mosquito Book trailhead. Lots of ups and downs and a few rocky sections but plenty of flow. This trail parallels and crosses the Birkie Trail along its length.

Review: Really enjoyed riding this trail. Only saw a portion of it though. Well marked and maintained, this trail winds through the Wisconsin north woods giving you some wonderful scenery. Not overly technical, but enough rocks, roots, bridges and berms to keep you on your toes.

Review: This is a great section of constantly evolving trail. Over the years it's seen some changes due to logging and blow downs, but they always seem to bring it back and keep it fun. Some parts definitely have an older feel, which I like, others are more modern and flowy allowing you to carry more speed.

Review: Rode this point to point this month (10/15) Cty OO to Mosquito Creek TH. Flowing with some rocks and roots. No hard climbs. Not as much fun as Flow Mama or Seeley Pass.

Similar Trail: Seeley Pass.

Review: Rode this today. It was a great trail and maintained well. The elevation gain was gradual and easy to handle. My brother has not ridden for years and he was able to handle this trail.

Review: Nice flowing trail through Wisconsin northwoods, some roots and rocks but nothing really technical, slowly gaining altitude from Mosquito Brooke Trailhead. Wear DEET repellent, ticks can be heavy early to mid summer.

Review: Great trail to get out and really feel your bike. Not too difficult where most people can enjoy it other than some rock gardens that take some skill. Very scenic and wildlife is abundant.
Even the mosquitoes aren't too bad.

Review: This point to point, 2 way trail is a pure joy to ride. It can be combined with the Hatchery and/or Seeley Pass trails to make a truly epic ride. If you are riding this out and back I suggest starting at the Mosquito Brook TH at the south end since the trail trends uphill to the OO TH. This will make your return ride more pleasant. Be warned that the first mile and a half, starting at the MB TH has a bit more rocks and roots and may be intimidating to the novice rider but after that it turns into a pretty smooth, flowing ride.
