Mountain Biking Mahogany
#118 of 249 mountain bike trails in Wyoming
Mahogany is a .7 mile stretch of singletrack that runs southeast from the parking area at the southeast end of Granite Springs Reservoir to an intersection with the Canyons trail. The narrow gravel trail winds through the scrub covered hills with just enough rocky obstacles to keep the rider interested. With only a couple hundred feet of climbing, this is a pretty easy trail. With this year's rain, the short section near the creek was less than foot wide, with five foot tall grass on both sides. It was nice to cool off here, but there is no shade on the rest of the trails on this side so CGSP.
