Fun technical trails that affords views of the Grand Valley and Colorado River. Can be loose and rocky, with a mostly mandatory hike-a-bike section. Can use to connect with Lions Loop, Moore Fun, Mary's Loop, and Troy Built. This trails is listed as an out-and-back, but can link up with other trails to make a loop. This trail can also be used to cut out some of the doubletrack of Lions Loop.

One of my favorite trails in the area. A decent climb with some Techy sections, beautiful ride up on top of the ridge, with a very Techy downhill to lions loop. I like to ride east to west and finish back on lions loop. It is a no go when wet and feels like a lot of gradual uphill. I feel rewarded and challenged every time I ride it.

I would highly recommend riding this trail from West to East. I started from the Troy Built lot. I rode Mack Ridge to Lion's Loop to Troy Built back to the car for max singletrack and minimum dirt road. Mack Ridge starts by climbing the jeep road. This climb sucks (would be even worse to descend it). The climb is why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5. I love to climb, but this is just a boring steep fairly loose jeep road. No fun at all. But then you get to the top and the views make you think it may have actually been worth it. Then the singletrack begins and you are pretty sure it was worth the climb as it winds along the top shelf of the area. It rides along the rim, so be careful. Finally once it the trail starts to descend to Lions Loop you'll completely forget the misery of the climb. It's pretty technical in some areas but crazy fun.

This is (arguably) the best trail in the Kokopelli network. I've always ridden it linking Troy Built and working back east then hitting Mary's, Horsethief and if there's anything left, Rustler's. Not as technical or as much of as an ass kicker as Moore Fun, but MORE FUN, in my opinion. Great sweeping views of the river and probably one hike a bike section for the overwhelming majority of us mere mortals.

Great test of bike handling skills. Very technical and similar to Moore Fun. Some of the best views in the region.

I entered this trail with no expectations--boy was I pleased--it's about as fun as it gets. Although some like to climb it, given its techncial nature, I prefer to take it downhill (there's still one portage for me--a very narrow, steep, long drop between a couple boulders). It makes a great loop after climbing either Lions or Troy Built.
