Mountain Biking Loughborough mill
#78 of 99 mountain bike trails in Maryland
trail has a mountain biker park at the beginning with many jumps, turns, a bowl, a bridge and a teeter-totter (the same as in the picture). Choose one of the many rocky roads to the main trail, Ford a creek, and then try to tackle the Half-Pipe where Loughborough mill once stood. After a while, the trail will spit yoou back out at Massachusetts avenue. better to ride it in late fall/early winter or late winter/early spring when the foliage isn't grown yet.
IT IS ONLY 0.4 MILES LONG BUT STILLL GREAT.

Enter the capital crescent trail at river road. Head south and cross the bridge. go a little until you reach a dirt trail to.the left goiing uphill.
Anyone want to work on these? I was out there the other day, needs a ton of work but there's a lot of potential.. Just need some helpThank |
Condos being built near trail. The good thing is that it is not interfering with the trail and the trail could maybe attract some more riders .Thank |
I actually do combine this ride with a ride on the CCT. You can also go down onto the little falls trail and ride some of the singletrack off that trail.Thank |
trail was not that hard but just annoyingly uncomfortable. the jumps are goo though and there are some ok lines but over all not a good trail other than the dirt jumps and the multiple "downhill trails" that are maybe 200 ft longThank |
