Mountain Biking Lizzie Oliver Trail
#212 of 302 mountain bike trails in New York
Nice little trail with scenic views of the Lake Colby Outlet
First I am making up a name for this trail and this trail system. but Saranac Lake, NY has several trails that are in or on the edge of the village that are fun to tootle along on
This is a small trail nuzzled behind the St. Bernard's Cemetery, that skirts the Lake Colby Outlet.
My usual starting point is the right, back corner of St. Bernard's Cemetery (after riding another nearby trail I haven't named (but will probably call it the SLCS X-C trail)
Naming the trail after an infant that died in August 2003 (born June 2003) and is buried at the corner where the trail starts.
The trail does have a flaw that people party/camp/fish and mostly litter in the area.

two ends
St. Bernard's Cemetery on Ampersand Avenew in the back on the right.
The other end starts at the Rail Road Tracks (that are slated to be a bike path) next to Kinney Drugs on Broadway.
From Broadway you ride along the train tracks (a little sketchy) until just before the causeway though Lake Colby Pond. (It is worth it to go on the causeway for the view.) There are two spurs to the left of this trail.
about a 1/8 mile into this trail you can take a left to a spur that goes to Lions Field (baseball/softball). The spur adds a third of a mile.
