Trail Description
About this trail
This route mostly rides along a lake shore and has little elevation change but is beautiful and gets more tech as you near the far end of the lake. Winds along grassy hillside and forest above the lake shore. I didn't continue past the lake end as the trail toughened. Best legal singletrack in Banff NP.

Note: Trail is closed July 10 - Sep 15 each year for bear season.

Review: Well maintained by Parks Canada, fun track with lots of variety - trees, some easy rocky sections and even a few small creek crossings. FUN! FUN! FUN!

Would recommend for intermediate to advanced riders. In and out track.

Review: The scenery is fantastic. The hikers drop off after 10-KM. The trail is easy to ride as in flows apart from the start/end which is a bit of a climb. It's an "in" and "out".

Review: We will have to make another attempt at this one. We found the trail signage confusing. It is on our bucket list as we have heard it is a beautiful ride.
