Mountain Biking Kanata Trail System

****   Add a review
#34 of 312 mountain bike trails in Ontario
#1,934 in the world

The west side part of this trail system is pure fun while the east side is more tame. While there is no denivellation overall to speak to try the outback 4 mile trail and you will see what I mean. Unfortunatly very few indication but a good GPS map on the net. Ther is also a small part of the trail - at the beginning - suitable for technical downhill.

Getting there
From Ottawa take freeway 417 west and exit at Palladium drive, keep on right and take Huntmar drive on left (north) and you will see the TH parking on the left side before the track. Due to new road construction in the spring the trail system is a little tricky to find but follow the track on the right (east) and the entrance is at 500f on the left. Rider questions

Q: Here's the map: http://ottawamba.org/cms/march-highlands-map/

Q: Hey, can anyone tell me the best place to get a quality free map of this trail system? Also would it be a suitable place to ride an S-works Stumpjumper FSR Carbon? I am a biginner at this... Much appreciated.
