Trail Description
About this trail
There is a network of singletrack and doubletrack trails here, all well marked with colored blazes. Some of the doubletrack is open to ATVs, and all doubletrack appears to be open to horses, but both are not allowed on the singletrack.

The trails here are very smooth with very little technical features. There are a few roots and logs to cross. The sandy soil drains very well, and holds up very well to riding when wet - just keep the sand on the trail and refrain from skidding around corners.

Note that the trails that are part of the Coldbrook preserve are not open to mountain bikers - this is marked on the trails.

Review: I went on my fat bike and the trails we're groomed and in great condition. There has to be at least 10 mils of trails. I rode 6 today and their we're trails that I didn't ride. I can't wait to ride it in the spring/summer.

Review: After reading the description, I thought this would be a simple, easy beginner trail, not unlike Cole's Woods in Glens Falls. IT was much much better. I did go when the ground was frozen, but it was a lot of fun. Mostly singletrack, I tried to stay off the ATV/truck trail. Lots of ups and downs, but nothing too steep or long. Trails were built around the hills. There are blazes, and colored ribbons and such, but I cannot find a mountain bike trail of the area to explain what any of it means. If I do, I will post here.

Review: Nice trail system with a combination of a large figure-8 jeep trail and several well marked, well maintained beginner to intermediate singletrack trails. Groomed for snow riding which is a big plus!

Review: These trails are marked pretty well, flowy in spots, tighht and twisty in other spots. You can get a good 1.5 - 2 hour aerobic workout here. A few logs to cross, not too wet, fun place to ride.

Review: The trails are non-technical with very limited obstacles. Good place to pack in some miles on the loops.
