			Mountain Biking Jackalope

#180 of 713 mountain bike trails in Utah

Jackalope is a super fun XC trail with a fair amount of climbing to start.Nothing to steep, just a nice steady grind. A few false summits and a long winding descent back to TH. There is a metal box @ the top if you choose to add your experience to the log book plus some more bike art along the way. Serpendipity Trail peels off the right of Jackalope towards the top and then crosses the trail again half way down. A great trail to start your ride and connect to anything in the area.

From Altitude Cycle, take Hwy 40 west approx. 6.5 miles, just past some over hanging powerlines and a left (south) onto McCoy Flats Rd. then 3 miles to the Corrals parking TH.

Great ride, nice steady climb and a great descent, a lot of loose rock,
| ThankClimbed Jackalope from Cookies, mostly used it as a way to get up to Serpendipity. Solid climb, a bit loose the whole way up. Didn't ride down Jackalope so don't have much insight there. Serpendipity - yes! Definitely ride Jackalope up to get over to Serpendipity.
| ThankThis is the biggest total climb out at McCoy, but as mentioned, it is a steady spin. Actually a very relaxing ride to just take it all in and scope the massive landscape. I did not get to the top, rather cut off to Serpendipity...hang on!
| ThankJackalope is pure XC bliss. Start on Milk & Cookies and after about 1.5 miles Jackalope peels off on the right. There is signage. Begin a steady climb to a few false summits and the a long twisting descent back to TH. Can connect to other trails to make for a great ride. Ride clockwise only.
