I would say this trail makes you earn the moments of actual mountain bike track. Admittedly it is difficult to ride a trail for the first time without being a bit unfairly critical of finding the best parts. . .I rode the entire trail and of the 7 or so miles went back to re-ride about 3 miles. Much of the trail, especially on the northern edge is flat and wide with little for obstacle or even flow. The Toth trail is really an equestrian access point that is 8-10 feet wide and can be avoided for biking. The best portions are toward the interior, upper portions of the park among the trees. The Flint Ridge trail is probably the best, sustained portion I found [I rode this short section three times and in both directions]. Directly south of this portion of the trail, and across the road is a portion of the Cannon Trail that is also fun, flowey, and even a bit pumpy in sections. It is really short though. I also rode this section three times. With all of this said, this is a beautiful park and the scenery is wonderful. The trails were well maintained and easy to follow. I would recommend almost all of this park for beginner riders.
