Mountain Biking Hurrah Pass
#168 of 711 mountain bike trails in Utah
Exit the parking lot and take a left. Go straight, past he Amasa back trail. You can loop both
trails together, at he top of Hurrah Pass. As soon as the hill levels out, you will ride down into a
canyon. At mile 2.3 stay right. At mile 3.2 there is an alternate trailhead. Stay straight through
all spurs. At mile 6.7 stay straight, as Kane Creek road turns left. From here the elevation gain
starts to pick up and by mile 8.4, the real climb has begun. At mile 9.7 you will reach the top of
Hurrah pass, aren't you happy. The road that continues links to Amasa back through Jacob's
Ladder, a very step hike-a-bike. From here you can explore, and eat lunch. Turn back, and
follow reverse directions to get back to the trailhead.

From Center Street in Moab, drive 0.7 miles south on highway 191 to Kane Creek Boulevard and
turn right. Folow this for 5.6 miles, where the road turns to dirt and after a cattle gaurd, there
will be a parking lot, park here.
