Mountain Biking Hayes Brook Trail

****   Add a review
#60 of 138 mountain bike trails in Vermont
#7,677 in the world

The trail consists of a steady climb on doubletrack with Hayes Brook on your right, followed by some tight singletrack along the top and a fast doubletrack downhill. Be careful of the large mudpit at the top of the trail!

Getting there
Take Route 100 north from Killington, VT to Pittsfield. Turn left at the Pittsfield General store onto Upper Michigan Road and follow about two miles to a large pull off with a US forest service kiosk and park here. Continue about 1.5 miles on bike following the forest service road past the kiosk after a significant downhill you will see a sharp uphill right with a forest service gate. This is the Hayes Brook Loop, a 3.25 mile loop.
