Review: I wish I can rate more than 5 stars! It is very balanced between climbing and downhill riding. I absolutely enjoyed it. I'd want to come back again.

Review: I have been riding this trail regularly for years. This spring (as of June 11, 2018) it is in great shape and is particularly fast. Most of the main loop has been mowed this spring, as well as a portion of the Epic Loop. There is some long grass on parts of the Epic Loop, but only in a few short portions, like over the wooden bridge at the stock pond. This is by far my favorite local trail. It has nice variety, starting (clockwise) by a warm up section on the flats over the dam. Then through some nice trees, including beautiful aspens - tight and twisty but also pretty flowey and fun. Then onto the prairie section, which is faster and really flowey. Please take the Epic Loop, as it contains some of the best riding on the trail. It has two decent downhill segments and some of the only climbing hills on the trial. The conclusion of the Epic Loop is a nice downhill back onto the regular trail loop. Fun. The rest of the trail is really fast and flowey, following the edge of the lake back to the park, where you ride tarmac road for a half mile or so back to the trailhead by the boat landing. Great fun. Can be riden clockwise or counterclockwise, although on busy days I recommend clockwise, as that is what most people ride to get the best downhill sections.

Review: Pretty good trail, although the flow isn't great. Still worth riding, and it can be done in an hour or so!

Review: Fun little trail, easy to follow, nothing technical and not much in the way of climbing. This is one of those hammer type trails, it has pretty good flow out in the open but can be a little tight when in the trees. Views of the lake are awesome in the evening. A good trail for beginner on up.

Review: Great trail! In the area from CO and found this place. Way better than I expected to find in flat country. I found it better to ride in a counter clockwise direction and don't skip the new area! Watch out for other riders as the foliage is thick.

Review: Great trail for the location!! I thoroughly enjoyed the two days in a row of riding here. The new section of trail that looks like it was created last fall definitely needs some touch up work but when it's cleaned up it will be great. If you're a new rider or bringing kids out there isn't any way to take a cut across short cut from the original 8 mile loop so if you don't want to go that far plan on doing a short out and back.

Review: Deceivingly longer than it looks. Trail itself is fast and flows pretty well if you go clockwise. No technical bits but it does have some mid-high speed bits which go into sharp uphill turns. Rides a lot better if you go clockwise. If you can keep a high corner speed, parts feel almost like a roller coaster. Really liked it.

Review: This is probably one of the best trail systems in North Dakota, it is situated around a small lake and consists of rolling hills. Part of the trail is located in open prairie while the other portion meanders through thick trees. The trail itself consists of dense packed dirt while other parts of it consist of rock. If you are in the area check it out, you will have a great time.
