This system is owned and operated by the state of Michigan (dnr). There are 6 rustic cabins, a lake and a river, it is also 1.5 miles from lake superior. The trails are a mix of two track, old railway, orv, hiking, and single track mtn bike trails. The trails are at times very easy but can instantly turn into craggy expert level trails. Beyond category views along with a great mix of terrain make this a local hotspot for riding. There are no aids to navigation, so stop by one of the 4 local shops to get a "custom" map. You can loop into this area from other trail systems in the area with local knowledge making for a trully EPIC ride.

From downtown Marquette drive north on 4th/Presque Isle ave to Hawley st., turn left and drive 7.5 miles on county road 550, turn left on Harlow lake rd and drive 1 mile and park.
