Mountain Biking Granny gear
#1,083 of 1,379 mountain bike trails in Colorado
Very challenging trail not for a beginner, but very fun for an intermediate rider. Some hill climbs are very steep and you may need to hike some of them. It's a great trail hidden in a mess of dirt biking trails and tracks, As this area is an open travel area.

In the JQS, take the rode on the hwy 13 bypass near the top of the hill, follow it roughly 1.5 miles then take fork right near a parking lot & gas and oil field equipment drive 2miles (a guess) then arrive at a parking lot with BLM signs (we parked here) this area is a atv training area take the road to the S S/W you will soon see a marker labeled end of granny gear trail. Stay on the main road you will climb to the far end and the base of the hill to your right where the trail head is marked.
