Mountain Biking Grand Geneva Resort Trail

****   Add a review
#153 of 382 mountain bike trails in Wisconsin
#8,114 in the world

Lots of roots, some doubletrack but mostly Singletrack. Also a few wooden features scattered throughout. a few really fun drops too. The climbs are thigh burning, but totally worth it for the downhill. Section names include "The Pines," the "Big O," the "Michigan Ave. Climb," and my personal favorite, "The Colorado Heart breaker." The loop equals 5 miles but there are a few more short trails scattered around. This Trail is home to the WORS race Treadfest.

If I have to pay then the trail should be maintained. Downed trees make for a long day that isn't very fun.

Tucked away in the back of the Grand Geneva property are some fun, technical trails. There are plenty of climbs to keep your cardio working, but also tricky, twisty sections in the woods that allow you to test some of your manuevering skills. Overall, a great place to build on your training. Some sections have names, and there are trail maps online.

Punchy little loop through big, mature hardwood forest, lots of short, steep ups and downs. Trail has an unfinished feeling to it - a season or two of trailwork, and a bit more signage could make this place a lot better.

It's all great! I rode the trail for WORS Treadfest and loved it. It's climbs are pretty intense (maybe thats just the race taking) but is rewarded with nice rooty descents, some wooden features, and a couple drops! It's also really tight in some spots, so small bar length advised!
