Mountain Biking Fern Mountain

#207 of 283 mountain bike trails in New York
#10,666 in the world

These trails are for cross country skiing in winter. Over 25 miles of mixed single and double
track. Some of the trails appeared unrideable while others were in good shape. Folks at petals
and pedals bike shop recommended the trail to be the best in the immediate area. Plenty of
east coast gnarl. Some hike a bike sections. Lots of elevation change.

Mostly double track. Some trails in hours shape but them would suddenly lose my way. Trails appeared to be marked but did not seem to help. Trails could be great with some attention. Plenty of easy coast gnarl to walk your bike through. Some nice elevation change. Trail appeared to go from difficult to easy and back again without rhyme or reason.
