Shuttling from Oldman Pass Snow Park the trail begins with a sweet 1.3 mile flowy DH romp through the forest. The next 6 miles alternates between climbing and XC sections with about 700' net elevation gain. At that point it is mostly DH with enough rocks, roots and trees to keep you on your toes. The final 5 miles are beautiful, steep ridge line trails. There are some scenic viewpoints found along this section and the likelihood of hikers on the trail is high. About 17 miles if you park at the Falls Creek TH; add 2 miles down gravel road if you leave your shuttle vehicle on Highway 30.
