Q: Of the three trails, which is best suited to beginners? -Guest

A: Black Forest is suppose to be the beginner trail. I went on it for my very first trail and the only issue i had was climbing the hills. Its not a very flat trail it has alot of small hills to go up and down but no hard obstacles.

Review: I live about two hours away and have ridden here twice. These trails are smooth, fast and flowy. There's enough climbing to get a solid workout and you can really bomb the downhills. I like the fact that the trails are directional and well marked. I'll definitely be making more trips here in the future.

Review: I really enjoy this place. It is one of my favorites. Don't let the "beginner" ranking steer you away, this is a MUST RIDE if you are in the area. It is fast and flowy with some climbing. XC folks will love it cause you can drop the hammer and get your cardio in. Gravity folks will like it because there is plenty of trail candy to launch off of. Heck, the new "Atlas" loop, is 5.5 miles of jumps.

It is laid out very well and signed very well. The trails were in great shape with the exception of about 10 trees down that I heard came down last weekend. There wasn't any mud when I rode, but it rained like the end of time just as I was leaving the park.

Review: Black Forest is a fast flowing trail. Really enjoyed it. Rode it 3 times back to back I liked it so much. It's directional I liked clockwise best. Great place to learn. My wife loved it too.

Review: The best Tennessee has to offer for TRUE NATURAL SINGLETRACK. Challenging climbs and very rewarding downhill. This trail had to have been laid out and built by some true professionals.

Review: Hard to find any trails laid out any better than these. They are directional so you don't have to worry about running into someone as you fly through the trails. Did all ten miles and you will love them. Log Rhythm does have a bit of a long climb but it's not too steep, not that hard.

Similar Trail: Altoona Creek.

Review: This is a great system of well used & maintained trails. Flow & moderate challenge abound. For first timers, whenever you cross a road, you are crossing into the next loop. It is also directional, so check the signs. TNT is the best of the 3 in my opinion, but all are good. Wish this system was closer to home.
