A great trail worth visiting if you are anywhere close to the area. It strings 3 distinctly different loops together with something for everyone. Black Forest is an XC oriented fast single track, TNT is a fun loop with roller coaster sections, rock gardens, roots and just an all around good time. Log Rhythm is a bit steeper and looser with some fun obstacles at the end such as the logs, pump track, and the elevated bridge.
Moderately loose, loose over hard, hardpack. Small Rock Gardens, mild to moderate roots. Optional Log obstacles and bridges for more advanced riders. Climbing is moderate as are the downhills. The steepest extended climb is at the beginning of Log Rhythm.
Firmly middle of the road. Some of the mileage will be very beginner friendly and some of it will be a little more technical, but not so bad that a beginner cannot complete it.
Well Marked and very easy to follow directional loop system.
Bathrooms at each major trailhead as well as access to water (when the fountain is working). The parking lot is very secure with park rangers patrolling often. A bit out of the way from any kind of bike shop or food options, but once you get back to the interstate you have the obvious choices there.
Beautiful park with lots of other hiking trails and nice picnic areas. High chance of seeing wildlife in the mornings
