Follow the main road (Wapiti Road) through the park first west and then north for 2.9 miles until it dead ends at the back end (far north end) of Grouse Mountain Campground. Here you will find a parking lot/trailhead for several trails. Lots of parking available. The trail begins about a half mile out heading north on Cheesman Ranch Trail (trail 17).
