Lots of work being done on trails and more to come Trails are wide open and hard packed. Except parts of the yellow in parts of the white trail or roof

Rode for the first time with two other riders. One of them being familiar with the park. The short, random sections of trail that were able to be ridden were okay at best. The majority of the trails were overgrown and barely about to be pushed through. Save yourself the fight and try out North Park, Hartwood or Roaring Run.

Not bad. No north park. Some overgrowth areas

Great trails! Loads of fun! Can be difficult depending which direction you go. Steep climbs are avoidable but all are doable. Not a lot of traffic as riders usually go to other trails in the area. Come ride and see!

Deer Lakes Park is one of the Allegheny County Parks surrounding Pittsburgh and is a hidden gem. It has tight singletrack trails with rolling hills. Though not well know, this is one of my favorite local places to ride. You can do an 8 mile loop with great flow and a continous mix of climbs and downhills. Want a longer ride? Just turn around and make it a double loop. It is common to see hikers and horses on the trail. These trails are being maintained in cooperation with Allegheny County Parks by PTAG (Pittsburgh Trail Advocacy Group). * Review edited 11/13/2011* Review edited 11/13/2011
