Trail Description
About this trail
Deadman Gulch forms the final leg of the classic Reno/Flag/Bear/Deadman loop. The Deadman section climbs steadily up to the junction with Cement Mountain Trail and Reno Ridge Trail, and then the Deadman Gulch trail plummets down the mountain side through a series of massive, technical switchbacks, until bottoming out at the creek below. What a way to finish an awesome ride!

Review: The Deadman's switchbacks have been shredded by motorcycles, leaving huge ruts and mud pits. They are still fun, but not what they used to be. Doctor Park switchbacks are way better.

Review: Deadman Gulch is a riot to ride--at least, in the downhill direction, which is really the only way you should ride it! Huge switchbacks with big berms and plenty of rocks, this descent is a real treat.
