Review: Fantastic biking town, friendly people, great places to eat. The trail system is similar to Kindom Trails and truly supported by the local admin as well as locals.

Review: Ranging from blue trail which are intermediate to breakneck black diamond trail... The choice is yours... It is by far the best mountain bike network trails on the island... Every single trail can be ridden by beginners/intermediate, the difference is the amount of dismount and speed one will have to do in order to go from point A to point B... I'm nowhere an expert and I ride black all the time, I dismount when it is too steep or too difficult and ride what I can and have a blast at it... It's all in how you perceive your abilities and limit yourself... There is a way around every obstacle and there is always someone there to help as the trails are well traveled... Best of all, enjoy the magnificent views that costal mountain range provides!

Review: I would disagree with this being intermediate. It is a trail network that has trails ranging from beginner to expert, one just has to know where to look and follow the maps. Actually the entire island is fantastic. Other areas to check out are forbidden plateau(10mins from Cumberland) doumontnin Nanaimo or Sooke just up the west coast of the island from Victoria/Langford. That being said this is by far the best mountain biking place I have ever been. From the amazing food, atmosphere to decent accommodations the place is great. And now that the riders pizza has or is becoming a microbrewery, one does not always have to stop at the Cumberland hotel after the ride for a beverage.
